After a busy summer of not one but two exhibitions, we are taking a well deserved break.

But in the meantime the committee team will be putting together new projects with Sean Burn and 🏡 Bank House in time for Christmas 🎄

Our cafe-style meetings will be running throughout summer at the People Express building, West Street, Swadlincote! Dates and times are listed below! We’re always open to new members and volunteers!

Thursday 17th August

NO MEETING

Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th August 11am-5pm

Two day residency to create an installation out of vintage materials with special guests Gemma Nemer and Jennifer Booth.

Thursday 24th August 4-5pm

Showcase of work to the public. Drop in 4-5pm. Free Refreshments provided.

Thursday 31st August 2-4pm

Dismantling installation after residency.

Wednesday 6th September (Times to be confirmed)

Meeting with guest Sean Burn to plan December residency with artist.

The Swadlincote Asperger’s Society was founded by members who all first met at this great centre years ago, a place that is now under threat from closure. Now, we are working with them to create a new project to further our goals and those of the South Derbyshire Mental Health Association…
