Mental Health Awareness Week (16th May – 22th May 2016)

Our first stall was held at the Swadlincote drop-in centre Bank House as part of World Mental Health Day back in October 2014 – a day after the S.A.S. was approved for our own bank account.

The importance of mental wellbeing is one of the key interests of the Swadlincote Asperger’s Society, as neurological conditions can leave one more vulnerable to stress, anxiety and depression.

The South Derbyshire Mental Health Association (the charity behind Bank House) offers a non-judgemental enviroment with no need of a referral from your Doctor. If you think you need support for any mental health issue, this is a good place to start.
